Since it is a natural material it does not retain the lime scale when washed and also dries quickly. Its composition permits the garment to maintain its original shape, even after many washes. It does not shrink, it does not crease and its maintenance is very simple.
The use of natural fibres such as TENCEL permits the garment to maintain warmth in winter and transpire in summer.

MODAL is one of the fibres used in CAMBRASS® creations. The same as TENCEL and COTTON, it has a natural provenience. The most attractive quality is its smoothness. Clothing made up with MODAL are very soft to human touch and, therefore, also when in contact with the baby's skin.
It is a natural fibre that is originally soft and silky. Properties that together with smoothness, transform the garment made up with modal into a highly comfortable and good-quality clothe.
A garment made up with MODAL doesn't loose its properties after several washes. These properties are kept. Without doubt, this is the most durable material; no pilling is found and there is a lower rate of adhesiveness to calcium.
The same as TENCEL, this fibre as been qualified as "intelligent" because of the capability of perspiration in high temperatures and, also, the heat absorption with low temperatures.

MODAL SUN is a natural fibre which prevents the suns rays from damaging the baby’s skin.
An ultraviolet block is incorporated into the threads of the garment. This gives the baby a solar protection of +30. There is no need for the use of any chemical product or finish.
The MODAL SUN textiles carry the same conditions and characteristics as Lenzing fibres. That is to say, an intelligent and protective garment for the baby.

With out a doubt cotton is the most widely used fabric in the manufacture of CAMBRASS® garments. It is a natural material with a wide range of recommended values for the well being and skin care of the younger members of the household.
Cotton’s most outstanding feature is it’s natural softness. This softness always depends on the quality of the subsoil from where the cotton is grown. That is why CAMBRASS® travels to the best cotton growing regions around the world to source the best crops. For example Egypt.
Cotton fineness is measured in Micronaires which determine it’s comfort quality and high resistance.
Another property of cotton is its ability to absorb water without giving the feeling of being damp. This acts as a thermal compensator for the baby’s body.
The best thread is that which, with the same weight, has greater volume and sponginess and with the necessary resistance to be woven. Overall, a standard bearer natural fibre within the CAMBRASS® product range.

SANITIZED is a healthy material finish for the baby. It is a material which CAMBRASS uses for its large format absorbers. It has diverse properties which all add to the wellbeing of the baby.
The SANATIZED finish is characterised by a permanent protection against microbes. It eliminates bacteria and fungus from the atmosphere and it protects the baby from possible allergies. It’s healthy properties also allow the garment to act as a deodorant, removing unwanted or annoying odours.
It’s maintenance is simple. It allows for repeated washing with out losing it’s properties. Also it is neither toxic or irritant and it’s composition prevents the wear of the garment, ensuring a long life.

When we mention the use of LYCRA© in the CAMBRASS® product range we have to point out several issues.
Firstly LYCRA© is a fine elastic thread invented and
manufactured by the company DuPont. A thread which is never used on it’s
own, but mixed with cotton.
The effect of this combination is that the garments do not loose their original
shape even with continual use.
CAMBRASS® garments manufactured from TENCEL use 2% LYCRA©. Such is the case of the “made in heaven” range of baby grows. With the use of this thread CAMBRASS® obtain much softer garments to the touch, and which never loose their original shape even after continual use.

This is a sheet which has been designed to prevent the baby from being totally covered and therefore avoiding accidental suffocation. The dimensions of the sheet can be varied, there are two types. If the client so desires they may also cut away the surplus piece with a pair of scissors

ORGANIC COTTON is basically the same as any other organic product which may be found in stores. This cotton (non-genetically modified) grows naturally without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers and is further processed without the use of toxic dyes, this signifies a less negative ecological impact for the planet and contributes to the natural fertilisation of the land.
